Forget what hurt you, but never forget what it thought you.
You may have been hurt many times by anyone, sometimes it would be
a silly reason and you tend to playfully ignore it because it would not be too
serious. But there are times when you get hurt so much that you do not know to
get over it. It is natural to be angry, annoyed or even frustrated in such cases;
you would never want to speak to that person or even face him/her.
Question is in such cases what
do we do? Do we forgive the one who hurt or just forget it and move ahead in
life? None of it possible in reality, it is natural to be angry and think I
will never forget what happened and will never forgive that person for anything.
Whatever has happened has hurt your soul and mind, when both are hurt there is
no way you would want to either forget or forgive.
In such cases you would want to
take revenge, but is it fruitful to do so, building up vengeance will hurt just
oneself eventually. You become monster that you did not anticipate to be. Life
happens in most uncertain ways and we tend to live not understanding the fact. Revenge
to any angry situation is no option, the solution is to face the problem and
learn something out of it. You can’t impress anyone and everyone you meet in
your life, you live your life once so do not carry any grudge but rather
forgive the one who hurt you and walk ahead. However, saying that never forget
what one has done to harm you, you will need to remember that it is a lesson
learnt and so you do not let the same repeat again in your life.
Forgiveness is the biggest
asset anyone can own, not everyone can do so. And when you forgive someone
means you give them back the pain that they gave you. It means you do not have
any more regrets about the same and your life has chosen the best possible way
to keep you happy.
