My story of fibroids and aloe gel

Yes yes am talking about that gooey jelly stuff you find In that cactus kind of plant. Well not cactus really, but that Pricky plant with thick stem and has large amount of gel in it. OK I won't be talking about all the health benefits of aloe vera plant here except for one and since its my personal experience I can talk with all my knowledge.

I have been suffering from uterine fibroids since few years well I have just one fibroid but a massive one, I was given only optional treat it was to get to get it operated and removed. The effects I faced due to the fibroid is directly proportional to its size, as the fibroid grew the problems also. I won't go deep into it, as its a medical condition and varies for every person.

While I had tried various methods like castor oil packs, mustard oil massages, hot bag treatment and even certain medication. None of it helped, and the pain was so much that I was prescribed painkillers. We all no the side effects of painkillers, they act like steroids as long as you are taking these medicines but once you stop pain continues. It is during this stage the aloe gel came to my rescue.

My sister suggested this method and asked me to give a try, only way she could convince me was that even if this medicine does not help me with fibroids but sure no side effects as all the ingredients are natural and good for health. So I decided to give it a try with hopes that something at least will help me.

Talking about the aloe gel, I do not suggest store bought ones. I agree it is difficult to find the fresh gel. Also the process of extracting gel from aloe vera stalks are tedious job. However in the long run this is good for your health and so better take a bit of time for your health.

Buy a aloe plant this is my first suggestion, aloe plant does not require much attention just water it twice a day and must get plenty of sunlight this should do. You will have wonderful plant with enough of aloe vera gel throughout the year. I will talk about how to clean and extract the gel in the upcoming episodes.

You might want to know how the aloe gel helped me with my fibroid. My condition was submucosal fibroid situated just above cervix. To explain in simple words imagine a ball filled with water which could be around 2-3kilos placed on you cervix all day long. The stress and pain it caused was too much and this happen everyday in and out. This was my condition, and now the pain and stress I feel has really reduced a lot. I do go through the pain, but this happens only when I have my periods but rest am leading painless days and nights.

If you ask me if the size if the fibroid has reduced or not, well I do not know. As I decided not check for at least 6months, just for past few weeks of this gel on daily basis has helped me with the pain am sure it will help me further.

Now you might all want to know how I take this gel.

Add 1-2tbsps of aloe gel, 1inch of fresh turmeric, 1/2tsp of ground cumin and 1/4tsp of Jaggery into mortal and crush them all using pestle into a gooey mixture and take it immediately. This mixture should be consumes every morning on empty stomach for at least 40days. I have not done a complete batch in one go so far, as I had missed in between and so restarted the process again.

PS: Fibroid the condition and its effects vary with each one and so treatment varies for all of us. But I think it is not bad idea to try this medicine as all the ingredients are natural and no side effects so no harm in giving it a try. With some luck and patience you might experience some relief and may be helpful.
