Sailing smooth with my Smoothies.
If your are following me on facebook or instagram you might have know by now that I am basically having smoothies on most of my days. Ho yes, I did skip on some random days. Here am trying to push myself to get to consume food in raw form more than cooked.
I was not born vegetarian or Vegan, yes once upon a time I used to have non vegetarian food, but that was too long ago. I was hardly 7 or 8yrs old when I actually stopped taking non veg food. Since then my diet has been vegetarian food but some of the dairy was still entering my body then in the form of sweets and icecreams. Untill few years ago when i learnt the art of managing to enjoy the luxury of the kind of food I like only in vegan way. I have been giving myself enough pleasure with the food I take that it becomes easier to be moral to what I eat and be honest about it.
I never force my food habits on anyone not even my daughter, but she happily follows my diet. Sometimes she indulge into chocolates, I don't stop her it is too early to impose everything. She is too young to understand what food ethics are, but sooner she will and then am sure she will value food as much as I do. Only food knowledge she has gained so far is that whatever mummy gives her is healthy and she is allowed to eat till she is satisfied
I have been making variety of smoothies since 3years, however its only recently that I have started sharing them online. I will try to introduce you to my world of smoothies initially with fruits and then slowly we can start with veggies and greens. I use frozen fruits most of the time, you may substitute with fresh ones as well. The way to use fresh fruits I will be providing when I post each smoothie recipe so wait for them, and enjoy each of those delicious drinks for your good health and well being. They are healthy, refined sugar free,affordable and easy to make with less preparation required. Kids will love them and so you may no need to doubt about it.
