You left me alone

Something on my mind,

Strange, yet unknown.

Thought I would find it,

Seemed like far from reach.


You stay within there,

Making me grumble out of pain.

But you still remain,

Quiet calm and composed.


Nothing seemed to be the word,

Still you are everything.

I stand watch things run down,

Just the tears on my cheek.


I try not to, not to holler

Still every tear reminds you.

I ask why he is still there.

Hush, hush it is all I hear.


Not a way to let you know,

Far you are, withal close to me.

Angelic touch, warmth and love

When all these left, my soul did leave.


Not your world I belong to,

It’s you, your existence I belong with.

"Goodbye" was the last word,

Like an everlasting word and you left.
